About Me

Hey everyone! I'm Avnit, and I'm super excited to be the 4th year rep this year! The MSS has been an amazing opportunity to meet and connect with other students, which is one of the most important parts of the year rep's role. I am excited to do whatever I can to ensure there is ample support made available to all of the Science faculty's 4th year students, in whichever way they may need. From exam destressors to post-grad application workshops, there's lots in store! I'll also be working hard with the other year reps to ensure we're all tailoring our efforts to the students we represent. You can most likely find me in the PC lobby between classes, in my thesis lab in LSB, or rewatching The Office in bed at home! I am excited to help foster an amazing experience for our awesome 4th years!

Goals

1. Planning initiatives that benefit the 4th year class while also fostering unity across the Macsci community.

2. Help students feel prepared for the more daunting experiences of being in their final year.

3. Acting as a voice for concerns that any student may have about their academic experience

Projects

1. A professional/graduate school workshop!

2. Utilizing the @macsci2025 instagram account.

3. Collaborative events with the other year reps.
