The Ontario Science Students’ Association is an initiative focused upon joining the governing bodies of science students of their respective universities, allowing their students to connect to other university bodies. It was founded at McMaster University in 2016 and has evolved to become a separate entity with the involvement of several other universities. It is to serve as a guide and support figure for the member schools’ science governments as well as for the students they serve, helping students to reach outside of their lecture hall walls and learn more about what is around them. The OSSA is comprised of student leaders from member schools, where our greatest goal will be to provide the best experience for any science student in Ontario by sharing knowledge and experience among all the member schools of OSSA.
