About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Aryan and I am one of the two SIF Directors for this 2024-25 school year. I am currently entering my 3rd year of Honours Biochemistry and this will be my second year as a part of the MacSci team. My first time on the MSS was during this past 2023-24 school year, where I was also one of the two SIF Directors for the year. I am most excited to be a part of the MacSci team once again and being surrounded by many like-minded people as I found to be a very holistically enriching experience. Some of my hobbies include going to the gym, reading, listening to music and watching movies. I love to play basketball, so often times you can find me in the drop-in hours in DBAC, or somewhere in the depths of MUSC second floor studying.

Goals

1. Increase our exposure and outreach the funding we offer to Science Undergraduate students.

2. Continue to improve and update our website with the latest information and to reflect the MSS' values.

3. Ensure that grants and funds are provided in an efficient manner.

Projects

1. Update the MSS website for our grants and funds, we have a slightly different system in place this year.

2. Provide lots of video and photo updates throughout the year about our funding deadlines.

3. Plan and host a SIF Funding winner showcase event for SIF winners to show off aspects of their projects!
