About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Saini Ithayarajah, I’m going into my third year of the Honours Biology program and I’m excited to be returning for my second year as the Internal Operations Officer—or as I’ve always liked to call it instead: Internal Ops (😎). Last year, we made a bunch of progress on the science lounge and with the help of the wonderful Internal Portfolio, we are excited to have our reopening this year (keep an eye out for that)! This year, I’m also excited to renovate the science office this year to better fit MSS needs. If you ever want to find me on campus, your best bet will definitely be MUSC Tim Horton’s or the learning commons, feel free to come say hi, but I’m definitely more excited to see all of you at the amazing events MSS hosts this year.

Goals

1. Increase transparency of MSS meetings, and certify meeting minutes are made aware of and available to the science faculty.

2. Encourage better relationships between the science students and MSS members through the science lounge.

3. Utilize and adapt MSS spaces to better serve MSS needs, such as for promotion, event hosting, storage, and more.

Projects

1. Finish the science lounge renovations.

2. Host a killer science lounge re-opening.

3. Finish the MSS office renovations.
