About Me

Hey everyone!! My name is Visali Manimaran and I am going into my fourth year of Honours Life Sciences. This is my third year on the team and I am super excited for what is in store for the MSS. I am excited and honoured for being your MSS President for this year. You can find me in a lot of places but I will most likely not notice if you are nearby. I love playing sports so *catch* me playing frisbee intramurals. I may be at many cultural events or even just running from place to place. Find me at Mills "studying" or in line at any bubble tea shop. One thing about me is I love to dance and have been for the past 16 years. I always love a good chat so don't be afraid to come up and talk!

Goals

1. Bettering MSS outreach and integrations throughout the faculty and the McMaster Community (i.e. through MSU - SRA Reps, SCCE, and Welcome Week).

2. Creating MSS as a staple for all faculty of science students.

3. Preparing and fine-tuning MSS through restructuring, revising, and resources.

Projects

1. Creating a sustainability plan and work on an initiative to help better our impact on the climate through the faculty and campus.

2. Creating a MSS Calendar for yearly events to regulate internal affairs.

3. Working with communications and the rest of the team to create a better social media presence.
