About Me

Hello, my name is Daisy and this will be my third year on the MSS! You may have formally known me as the VP Comms, but this year I am excited for my new role as 2024-2025 VP Internal! I am honoured to support all Faculty of Science students, especially bridging the connection between program societies. I truly admire MSS for the beautiful mosaic that it is. Ran by students, for students-- advocating, celebrating, and empowering every single one! I promise that I am highly approachable. Where you can find me most often is in the Mills Library hunched with my laptop embellished with stickers or maybe even eating some sort of snack or meal. I am shameless to say that I am never opposed to trying new food so if you ever want to yap about food (or share food :P) I am all for it!

Goals

1. Promote and ease collaboration between and with program societies, creating an internal communication platform to streamline promotions.

2. Maintaining the integrity of MSS by revising all policies and ensuring all are updated, accurate, and appropriate.

3. Devising and implementing sustainable and equitable initiatives by collaborating with students within and outside of MSS.

Projects

1. Officially launch the renovated Science Lounge and implement a booking system for student events.

2. Continuing President Council Meetings, facilitating ongoing communication between program societies.

3. Hone in on both program society and MSS elections to boost voter turnout!
