Hello everyone! My name is Maryam and I am so honoured to be part of the MSS Tutor Team this year! Some details about me: I love reading fantasy novels in my free time. I enjoy travelling and often dream about spending a few years of my life aboard in Europe. Finally, I am a huge fan of movies. I have watched and loved many movies but I will always hold a special place in my heart for the Bladerunner (1982). Other highly-esteemed movies (IMHO) include The Dark Knight, Roman Holiday, and Interstellar! All of these are complete game-changers so if you ever have the chance, watch them!

Preferred Teaching Style: I am a very versatile person and thus, teach using a variety of techniques and styles. Overall, I like to use paper, coloured pens, and inanimate objects to help demonstrate difficult concepts to my students/siblings. I am very expressive in my teaching as well, often using my hands or facial expression to help drive the message home. Regardless of my "main" teaching style, I am open to changing things up. I realize that everyone learns differently and it is my duty, as a tutor, to accomodate your needs/learning preferences.
