Hi! I’m Kevin. I think I like learning. I’m interested in a lot from history and law to abstract math and game design to fashion and social psychology. There’s no one hobby to which I dedicate the significant majority of my free time, but I enjoy watching Netflix (currently House and Jujutsu Kaisen) and YouTube, I play video games (Destiny 2, BTD 6, League), and I listen to a lot of music (Hip-hop, Pop, R&B, Indie Rock, 80s, Kpop). I also like going on walks and biking and photography. I’m not sure what I want to do with my life, but 5-year-old me wanted to be a police-doctor.

Preferred Teaching Style: My preferred teaching style/method is just focusing on what a tutee needs help with most. If it’s a homework or in-class question, I will help them to figure out the answer on their own (I won’t just give it away!!). If there’s something more conceptual that needs clarification, I’ll do my best to explain things as I understand them which hopefully feel more intuitive. If I have time, I might draw up a diagram to supplement my explanation or if I’m having trouble conveying my ideas we might go through together a video that helped me understand the concept.
